Cowgirl Portrait Session in Heron, Montana!

I enjoyed being able to travel to Montana & visit one of my good friends Darla. We took pictures of her & her childhood horse skipper on the Hersh's property in Heron. Taking portraits with horses is one of my passions. Growing up with equine has equipped me to be able to communicate & place the horse in the way that captures the strength, beauty, & grit of the animal. I love candids, but this cowgirl portrait session was more directed in order to capture both subjects in the right light. As a West Texas photographer, I enjoyed capturing the wildness of Montana in different images & portrait sessions.
